TownHall meeting Cervical Cancer Campaign

Check Ya’ self is a campaign is to increase knowledge of Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), HPV-related cancers, and the HPV vaccine among young men and women aged 11 –24 in Macon County, AL. This campaign is seeking students aged 11 -24 who will serve as leaders among their Peers to help increase awareness. The Peer Leaders will be involved in virtual educational and outreach activities and will receive a $100.00 incentive for their participation.
This is a collaboration among Macon M.E.A.N.S., The Southern Black Girls & Women Consortium, the Macon County School System, Department of Graduate Public Health, College of Veterinary Medicine/Research Centers in Minority Institutions (RCMI), ¾«¶«AV, and the Alabama Department of Public Health.
