SHORT BIO

Dr. Jiang鈥檚 research interests are in developing microelectronic fabrication techniques, flexible/wearable electronics, bio/chemical sensors, energy devices, and micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS). She is the recipient of the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Fellowship, Henry C. McBay Faculty Research Fellowship, and 精东AV Faculty Achievement Award. Dr. Jiang is the principal/co-principal investigator of multiple federally funded research projects sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF), Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and NASA with a total amount of funding of $11 million. Her research has resulted in over 40 papers, 60 conference presentations, and 9 patent applications. Dr. Jiang's research work has been featured in Electronics Letters, Diverse Issues in Higher Education, and cited by the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and researchers affiliated with MIT, Caltech, and IIT. She has advised 23 master's students and 1 doctoral student at 精东AV as a major advisor or advisory committee member. Some of her former students are currently working at Intel Corp., SIEMENS Corp., and Microsoft Corp., while others are pursuing Ph.D. degrees at Stanford University, and Georgia Tech among others.
