Dr. Abdul Salau is a Nigerian.He completed both his elementary school and high school education in Nigeria.After completing his education in Nigeria, he came to United States to further his education.He attended and graduated for B.A. University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Masters, University of Hawaii-Manoa, and Ph.D. Temple University, Philadelphia, PA. His scholarship and research is focused African History, and Common Origin of Ancient Egyptians and West African people. Historic Linguistics: diachronic relationships between African languages and Ancient Egyptian language. Dr. Salau was a student of the world-renowned scholar Theophile Obenga.

  • His teaching, research, advising, and community activities exemplified by commitment to contribute to 鈥榓 greater historical mission for greater good of humanity鈥 as articulated by Cheikh Anta Diop.He has received Frederick Douglass Teaching Fellowship and Adam Teaching Fellowship from Michigan State University. Dr. Salau has taught at many universities in United States and Africa.
