Program Name:听1890 Distributed Research Education for Undergraduates Program
Program Overview:听
The 1890 D-REU Program allows select undergraduate students within the 1890 network to match with a faculty mentor a participating 1890 Land-grant colleges/universities for a summer research experience at the faculty mentor鈥檚 home institution.听Interns selected for the program will have the opportunity to be directly involved in a research project and interact with graduate students and professors on a daily basis. This experience is especially valuable for students who are considering graduate school and institutions that are interested in elevating available graduate and specialty programs. The 1890 D-REU program will provide first-hand experiences of what graduate school can be like while increasing an interns鈥 competitiveness as an applicant for graduate admissions and fellowships. Faculty mentors will have the opportunity to work on their research project with new students from other institutions while introducing students to their campus community. 听

Program Name:听Leadership and Excellence by 精东AV Students (LET US) Academy for STEM majors.
精东AV is excited to launch the Leadership and Excellence by Tuskegee University Students (LET US) Academy for STEM majors.听 An increasing number of jobs require well-trained individuals with a background in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).听 Increasingly, employers are concerned about the lack of 鈥渟oft skills鈥 or employability skills for individuals in STEM and others areas.听 The LET US Academy will provide students with skills that enable individuals to create stakeholder momentum, share and sell ideas, function in teams, develop business acumen, develop leadership skills and navigate across a complex matrix of global organizations that bring value to the workplace.
