HOW TO POST A JOBÌý – STAFF POSITIONS

  • Complete a SPRF (Staff/Faculty Personnel Requisition Form)
  • Send an electronic Word documentÌýof the job description (template available above) toÌý(employment@tuskegee.edu) for posting purposes (Word Format ONLY)*
  • Attach the SPRF, Justification,Ìýand Job Description documents (as a complete packet) and begin the signature approval process:
    • Supervisor/Dean/Dept. Head
    • Grants ManagerÌý(if paid from grant account)
    • Budget
    • CFO
    • Provost (Faculty employees and Staff employees under Academic Units)
    • Human Resources
  • The position will be posted within 2-3 business days after all signatures have been received by allÌý»å±ð±è²¹°ù³Ù³¾±ð²Ô³Ù²õ
  • All positions are posted for a minimum of (7) seven business days and must include a closing date.Ìý

HOW TO HIRE - STAFF POSITIONS

  • After (7) sevenÌýbusiness days from the post date, departments can request (completed) submitted applications via email at employment@tuskegee.eduÌý
  • Application packets are forwarded to include HR Referral Form and OHR approved Interview Questions
  • All interviews are conducted within the specific departments by the Dept. Head/Supervisor
  • After interviews are complete, department creates HiringÌýReferral Packet to include:
    • PAF (Personnel Action Form)
    • HR Referral Form (provided by OHR)
    • Interview Questions & Answers for selected candidate only
    • Selected candidates’ application materials
  • The Hiring Referral Packet will begin the signature approval process
    • Supervisor/Dean/Dept. Head
    • Grants Manager (if paid from grant account)
    • Provost (Faculty employees and Staff employees under Academic Units)
    • Budget
    • CFO
    • Human Resources
  • Selected candidate is notified and aÌýConditional Offer of Employment is made once it is received by HR
  • Pre-employment background screening will be conducted
  • New Hire Orientation is scheduled

ÌýHOW TO POST A JOB - FACULTY POSITIONS

  • Complete a SPRF (Staff/Faculty Personnel Requisition Form)
  • Create the Faculty Position Announcement
  • *Send an electronic Word documentÌýof the job descriptionÌý(template available above) to (employment@tuskegee.edu) for posting purposes (Word Format ONLY)*
  • Attach the FPRF, JustificationÌýand Job DescriptionÌýdocuments (as a complete packet)Ìýand begin the signature approval process:
    • Supervisor/Dean/Dept. Head
    • Grants Manager (if paid from grant account)
    • Budget
    • CFO
    • Provost (Faculty employees and Staff employees under Academic Units)
    • Human Resources

  • Conditional Offer of Employment is made once it is received by HR (After final approval)
  • Pre-employment background screening will be conducted
  • NOTE: FACULTY PACKETS MUST INCLUDE AN EXECUTED FACULTY CONTRACT WITH SPECIFIC SALARY OFFER.Ìý
  • New Hire Orientation is scheduled within 2-3 business days
  • A copy of all pertinent documents will be provided to the Office of the Provost, toÌýinclude:
    • PAF
    • Notice of Appointment
    • Application Materials
