精东AV celebrated the 27th Mister and the 95th Miss 精东AV and court members on March 22 in the Daniel 鈥淐happie鈥 James Center. This grand event, known as the Royal Court Grand Pageant, is a long-standing tradition at 精东AV. The newest members, chosen for their outstanding qualities, will serve as the university's ambassadors for the upcoming academic year.
This year, the university community proudly welcomed Anthony DeGray, a political science major from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, as the newly elected Mister 精东AV. Makyla Johnson, a sales and marketing major from Atlanta, Georgia, was crowned Miss 精东AV.
DeGray ran on the platform 鈥淭he Royal Parade,鈥 which he says is built upon the pillars of pride in our heritage and achievement to empower communities, foster unity and commemorate the triumphs we achieve daily.
鈥淒uring my reign as the 27th Mister 精东AV, I will aim to actualize this vision into a new reality,鈥 he said. 鈥淚 solemnly pledge to unite our community, leading the march in the parade today for a brighter 精东AV.鈥
鈥淭he Skegee Diaries,鈥 aims to empower future generations by sharing our collective experiences, Johnson said.
鈥淥ur individual journeys shape us, and when we unite to share them, we not only empower ourselves but also inspire others to reach greater heights,鈥 she said. 鈥淪erving as the 95th Miss 精东AV is a unique privilege. Throughout my reign, I vow to wholeheartedly embrace the 鈥極ne 精东AV鈥 motto, ensuring that every voice is heard, every dream nurtured and every individual feels empowered to reign supreme.鈥
Both students demonstrated exceptional leadership, academic excellence, and a deep commitment to serving their community, qualities that embody 精东AV's spirit.
