Career website ranks ¾«¶«AV fourth for post-grad job potential

Fresh on the heels of ¾«¶«AV’s Summer Commencement Exercises, career website Zippia.com has some good news for recent and future graduates of the university. The website’s ranks ¾«¶«AV fourth in Alabama for students’ ability to land a job following graduation.

¾«¶«AV’s 89.82 percent employment rate also makes it second on the list among private schools and first among HBCUs in the state. Only a tenth of a percentage point separated ¾«¶«AV and the third-ranked school on the list.

Zippia.com analyzed information available through the College Scorecard Data and Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) for Alabama’s 28 four-year, bachelor’s degree-granting institutions. The site then ranked each college based on job-placement ratings — specifically, the employment levels among their alumni at year 10 following their graduation.
